Welcome to the 2012 school year. We are looking forward to having you and hope you are ready to enjoy the exciting challenges that our school offers.
All students are important to us. We want our school to be a great place to learn and a fun place to be.
OUTDOOR EDUCATION ACADEMY FOR YEAR 7 & 8 PUPILS
Next year we are starting an exciting new initiative in our Year 7 & 8 class – it will be ‘Excellence Through Action’ with our Outdoor Education Academy. The programme of learning will be run by Matthew Dennis, one of our awesome team here at school. We realise how very important academic achievement and the preparation of our students for High School is to our parents and students. We also realise that we live in a unique environment, one that offers incredible opportunities for learning; our Academy will make the most of these things. This proposal was presented to the parents and students who will be in Year 7 & 8 in 2012, and we have had overwhelming support for the concept. We will keep you informed of our progress as this exciting prospect unfolds!
We continue to have a steady stream of students enrolling – it’s great to see so many new families joining our school and community, especially at the junior end of the school. They offer huge support to our school and I must say a huge thank you for all the assistance we receive.
